When In Need Of Expertise With Your Tan Clients Have To Find A Quality Self Tanner

By Haywood Hunter

All folks have tried to do a bit of home tanning. Every person has used some self tanner at one time or another. Most of the time it never turns out the way it normally does when going to a spa. There are tricks to getting that perfect color without having to spend hours sitting in the sun.

Having to go to the spa can be time consuming and not everyone can afford it. Try purchasing your own start-up kit and practice on yourself or even a willing family member. As time goes by it might even become a small business that you can do to earn extra money.

One of the first sprays that came on the market was in 1984. It was called Terracotta, and was rather expensive. Many still report that it is one of the best spray tanning products on the market. It had a very quick drying time and one could be dressed within 10 minutes after application. The color was of a natural brown and no orange was reported. The tan went a deeper color as the hours went by. The smell was not too bad and after the first shower the smell nearly disappeared. The only problem was that it was truly expensive and not many could afford it.

As your little business expands, one can then think of getting a turbo twister clan air extractor fan. This is to minimize any overspray. It has a four stage filter that is made especially to ensure a more comfortable environment for you and your client. It is lightweight, so even a small built person will be able to handle it. It is easily transported and has a powder coat finish.

The face is one of the areas that tend to be overlooked the most. If not applied correctly one could land up looking really old. There is a specific bronze gel especially for the face. It is used to enhance the color and should be dabbed on after a moisturizer but before any powders. It will leave your skin with a warm color and will add a little shimmer as well.

Before you start, if your knees, elbows or feet are very dry, massage a little body cream on these areas. If those spots are very dry the lotion will leave them very dark and will look unsightly. Another idea is to apply a gradual tan moisturizer before hand to help eliminate the streaks that could appear.

To avoid getting orange hands while applying, try using latex gloves. They are not expensive and are readily available at most shops that sell medication. It is not always easy to use them as you cannot "feel" properly. When spreading over the skin always use a circular motion and try not to miss any spots. Work slowly and carefully. Do not spend too much time doing this if you are not using gloves. It might be a good idea to use a timer and every five minutes or so just give your hands a good wash, drying thoroughly. Don't forget to wash under and around your nails.

One of the most highly rated tanners on the market today is the Clarins Liquid Bronzer. It is one of the easiest to use and the smell is not too strong. Many people have said that this product is great to use even if you have an oily skin type.
