How To Cure Acne Using Home Remedies

By Jocelyn Kinder

Curing acne isn't an exact science. What works for one person may not work for the next person. Should you go see a dermatologist or try home remedies for acne? Make an appointment with a dermatologist if acne is severe but if your skin isn't that bad, then consider trying a few home remedies. Many home remedies are just as effective as store bought products and some maybe even more effective. The following acne remedies work for many people and may work for you.

The type of fats you consume in your diet can have a large impact on your acne condition. There are healthy fats, which could help clear up your skin and unhealthy fats which could make your acne worse. Naturally eating unhealthy fats is not good for your health or body either. It's best to cut back on saturated fats such as meat and dairy products, and to cut hydrogenated fats as much as possible, as these are even worse. There are some healthy fats which may actually help heal your acne. These healthy fats include, flax seeds, olive oil, and fish oils. Aside from these, most oils, including commonly used vegetable oils, should be avoided as much as possible.

One of the best acne remedies is lemon juice, a cheap item you can buy at any grocery store. The acid contained in lemons, called L-ascorbic acid, cleans your pores and helps fight the bacteria that occur with acne. If you look at the ingredient list of many acne products, in fact, you'll find L-ascorbic acid, but you can get this less expensively with lemon juice. Using lemons to fight acne is easy. Apply lemon juice with a cotton ball to your face, take care not to get the juice into your eyes. Leave the juice on your face and in the morning wash the lemon juice off. For the best results, use fresh lemon juice. Some people find the lemon juice to be too acidic. If you have sensitive skin, consider diluting the fresh squeezed lemon juice with a little water.

Many people think exposing acne to the sun will cure the blemishes but this isn't necessarily true. Acne may be less noticeable after laying out in the sun. This happens because your skin turns either darker or a little more reddish in tone. The acne isn't cured, it's just less obvious. On the other hand, laying out in the sun for too long, may cause skin irritation which will result in more breakouts. So too much sun may result in even worse acne breakouts! Then again, you shouldn't avoid the sun altogether because smaller doses of sunlight is healthy for your skin. Remember, there is not really any excuse to lay in the sunshine for hours on end with the hopes of curing acne because it will not work.

Acne isn't always easy to get rid of, but that doesn't mean you have to live with it forever. Persistence will pay off! Keep searching until you find the ultimate acne solution which works best for your skin type. Sometimes it may take some time for the home remedy to start working. Give each remedy enough time to work before you move onto the next. Stick to the remedy for a full two weeks and then decide if there is any improvement in your acne breakouts.

A Short Introduction To Regular Back Pain Causes

By Lucas Gorge

If you are unfortunate enough to be experiencing back pain, then there are going to be a few unpleasant consequences that you will need to deal with. Constant pain in the back region can incapacitate a person who will find it impossible to continue performing even the most routine daily tasks. Intermittent aches in the back region may be less bothersome but it can still lead to suffering from sharp aches that again can incapacitate a person. Such a condition can develop at any time and for no apparent reason and in addition, it may even be hard to treat the condition properly as well.

However, in a majority of instances, back pain recedes and disappears after a couple of days but it can also trouble you for weeks at a time, especially if the condition is left untreated. When this condition becomes chronic, there is every chance that you will experience discomfort for many months and sometimes even for years.

If the hurting turns out to be severe, then you could be incapacitated for several days during which time you will need to undergo medical treatment. All this time, the condition can make it hard for you to pass urine normally and your back as well as genital areas can also become numb. The condition of your legs will become weak and you might even experience shooting aches in that part of your body which will lead to experiencing unsteadiness while standing. In such cases, it is important to get yourself seen and treated by a doctor immediately.

Back pain develops in certain body regions and the intensity of the aching will vary leading to varying degrees of soreness, stiffness and experiencing burning sensations. The ache will worsen whenever you try bending or sitting and it can even occur each time you try to walk.

Pinched nerves can cause numbness as well as tingling and it also is the cause of cold/warm sensations. It even leads to an ache that burns or stabs you and which will begin in the back region and then radiate to the leg region and even extend to the arm.

Compression in the nerves is a major reason why people suffer from pain in the back. In such circumstances, the muscles become numb and weak. In some cases, especially when the compression is not treated, the muscles can even atrophy.

You should know why back pain occurs and what its main causes are. Some of the more well known causes of this condition include over or underuse of the back and in addition the condition is also caused by disc herniation as well as by spinal stenosis.

It is not difficult to treat your back pain and often the treatment method used tends to be very conservative. Some people choose to use home remedies to get relief while others take to using medications with which to get relief. Still others opt for steroid injections that help in controlling inflammation as well as the aches that are caused by this particular condition.
