Life coaching and personal counseling is becoming more and more popular today, and for great reason! Many people are finally coming to the point in their life where they can admit their shortcomings and needs, and are searching for people that have the ability to help lead and guide them into uncertain areas of life.
Now, there are many types of life coaching available, and the investment for such coaching can vary just as much. Some coaches are licensed therapist, psychologists, etc. and may offer life coaching as a side business to their regular career. At the same time, some life coaches are ministers and spiritual teachers who rely on biblical or spiritual teachings to guide the client through their path of change.
Our ministry for example relies upon prophetic counseling as part of our life coaching program. Using the traditional model of life coaching and counseling, we then also heavily rely on guidance from biblical teachings as well as prophetic insights and guidance. Although not as popular as traditional therapeutic or Christian counseling, prophetic counseling is highly specialized and personal to the client.
Prophetic Life Coaching in this method generally requires continuous client feedback, prayer with and for the client, and personal assignments. Then the person starts to see changes in their lives and circumstances, and can determine whether to continue training on a permanent position, or simply consult with the trainer for some "tuning" in some specialized areas of their lives.
Another advantage that we have with our age of technology is the ability to efficiently communicate by telephone and internet. Life coaching can be done privately by personalized telephone sessions, conference calls, and then followed up by e-mail. If you have any desires for life coaching or counseling, then check out our ministry at www.TheSecondAdam.com or one of the many other ministries that provide life coaching.
