From beliefs that date back to thousands of years ago to many that have originated in the last thousand years, people seek out meaning from religions. People have been around for thousands of years and thought the life span of an average human has decreased over the last few thousand, the ways in which one seeks out security and fitfulness is not. Religion, although it has many advantages that is adds to a person's life, if over dosed on can be very unhealthy and dangerous, should the wrong outcome be sourced. When someone seeks to harm another in order to fulfill their desire or need for affection they can be very harmful and therefore needs plenty of help. The best way in which to draw attention to a religious life is by living through example as to attract others to the way in which they wish their life to pan out.
When one brings up Christianity, just like other religions asks for a sacrifice, is the only belief that shows that a person need not make the sacrifice but instead it was done for them but Christ. The bible in which this religion is explained, displays the best way to live for God and live for purpose but also not to seek acceptance from others rather the one who created the world. The perfect example of this was through Christ.
There are plenty of Christians that prance around the world today proclaiming that they are a part of a certain church that is better than another, this is not true. God said in the Bible that the only way to him was through his son Christ. It really is all about the relationship and acceptance of Jesus.
Church is a way in which to find others who love God, but it is also a way in which to grow closer. And although fellowship is important it's not everything. Many are not aware of this and this is sad.
In conclusion when one says that they go to church, do not base your trust of their belief on that. Watch out for signs of someone who lives a good life.
