When things are going well in life, everything is fine and dandy. But when everything starts to crumble we have a couple of choices. We can either let the situation ruin the rest of our life or we can decide that we are going to step into the situation with courage and bravery and move forward. We face enormous amounts of pressure every single day.
These pressures are familiar to everyone. We all have them come over us when we are not ready for them and really have no choice in how life decides to do what it does. A great deal of the time it all happens at once or nothing happens at all. But we are all privy to the overwhelming nature of pressure and have to make a choice of how to respond to it.
Why don't we all just face these pressures?
Fear stops us from acting. Fear stops us from being the person we truly can be and taking the next step. Why? Because that next step takes a massive amount of faith and willingness to go through the pain. It takes a huge amount of effort to become who we truly are. It takes guts.
But for the others who are constantly challenged and have to feel this pressure time and time again, it can turn them into something unbreakable. It can turn them into a diamond in a rough world.
If we decide to live through the fear and make ourselves into something greater than what we currently are living in, we can see these pressures as privileges instead of obstacles. We can see how much of a privilege it is to be performing on the world stage instead of hiding in the stands.
