Anxiety is a common emotion. This is something that you feel when you are not comfortable with the situation. But there are times that this can be too extreme and the way you feel is not considered normal anymore. In this generation, there have been several discoveries about certain conditions that are not evident but is in fact considered a disorder.

At some point in your life, you have felt different types of thinks especially being nervous. It can happen during times and situations that you do not like and those that you are very happy to be in. But anxiety is often attributed for the negative effects and daily dread. There have also been alarming reports about suicides and attempts because of it.

One of the things that you have to know is the important information regarding the different types of anxiety disorder. You may have it or you do not. So to be sure, you have to have the details first before you can conclude anything. It would be premature to take medication when you are not really sure about it.

One common type is the panic disorder. This is usually characterized by attacks. It can be the worst of all kinds because the attacks are unprecedented. There is no way of telling when it will happen to you next. Most of the time, it is confused with a heart attack because the symptoms and the feeling is the same. People feel like they are being gagged, it is difficult to breath and there is a degree of suffocation.

There are also others who feel dread when they are around other people. This makes attending gatherings impossible for them. This can be a normal case if only occurs during the first times. But if this is something that you feel repeatedly, there must be something wrong.

According to experts, the anxiety comes from the thought that you will be humiliated or judged when you try to show your face in the crowd. The formal term for this is the social anxiety condition. You do not do well in crowds and you tend to think so little of yourself that you could not stand it at all.

There are specific phobias and some people have them. This is also considered as a disorder. But this is not as extreme as the first two ones. With phobias, you can control them over time. But this can be really dangerous especially if it can cause a panic attack.

This is a sickness that is not in born. It is cause by several factors, one of which being isolated with the world. And if you have had a previous experience that is too traumatic to get over, it can also be the reason.

The choice to get treated should be yours. This type of condition has a way of taking over your life. And before you know it, it is manipulating and influencing your decision at every turn. In this regard, you have to ask for advice from medical expert on what is the best step to take and what is the treatment that you should undergo.
