Get Acne-Free Skin In Just A Few, Easy Steps

Makeup can be a contributing factor in acne. When using oil-based makeup, you are potentially clogging you pores. Oil-based makeup is a major cause of acne problems. In order to achieve a creamy makeup consistency without oil, some products include synthetic ingredients to create the oily results needed to achieve makeup consistency. When you are reading labels, consider looking for makeup that clearly states it will not clog your pores, which helps prevent skin blemishes. You could face a breakout when using these products that contain synthetics.

Use a gentle cleanser and warm water twice a day to maintain healthy skin. Afterwards, make sure you rinse off your face using cool water. Always wash after a workout. Use a gentle touch while washing your face and resist the urge to try to scrub pimples away. That won't help, and will even make skin breakouts worse!

Avoiding stress should help you control your acne. Stress produces hormones that are not only bad for your overall health and body, they also wreak havoc on skin. Reducing stress is worth the effort no matter how you do it. Some methods you can use to do this include watching televison, walking the dog, or playing an instrument. Keep in mind that acne worsens when you get stressed out.

If you are looking to reduce acne, be certain that your body is well hydrated. Drink a lot of water everyday. At a minimum, 6-8 glasses are required each day. These dead cells can cause your pores to become blocked, resulting in even more acne.
